Day 1
Arrive at Entebbe airport, pick up and you are transferred to Cassia Lodge for your overnight stay
Day 2 Kampala City Tour
After Breakfast proceed to Kampala city for your City tour. The tour will include the Kings Palace of Buganda, the Uganda museum the oldest museum in East Africa, Makerere University one of the oldest educational institution in Africa. Lunch at Emin Pasha Hotel and after proceed to the Bahai temple the only temple of Bahai faith in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge
Day 3 Kampala Jinja
After breakfast, transfer to Jinja and on the way, you will have a stop over at Mabira forest for a short walk in the forest, tea plantations in Lugazi and after continue to Jinja where you will arrive in time for Lunch. After lunch, visit the Source of the River Nile where you take a short boat ride on the river. (The world’s longest river) and then transfer to Bujagali falls for site seeing after which you will return back to Kampala. Meals and overnight at Cassia Lodge Meal Plan –BB. Transit Time 2 Hours
Day 4 Jinja-Murchison Falls
After Breakfast, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, lunch to be enjoyed at Masindi Hotel. As you cross into the park, you will pass through lowland jungle before traveling up and over a side-shoot of the Great Rift Valley, before plunging down into the Nile Valley and rolling savanna lands. We will make a stop at the top of the famous Murchison Falls, where the entire Nile is forced through a six meter gap in a pounding fury, before spilling out into a more placid flow at the bottom. We will spend the night nearby the Nile, where the laughing of hyenas, the roar of lions and the grunting of Hippos will thrill you to the core. Meal Plan- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge. Transit Time 4-5 Hours
Day 5 Murchison Falls National Park
An early start in the morning for a game drive encompassing elephant, giraffe, lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, warthog, baboon and a huge variety of other wildlife. Later on you will take a boat ride up the river to the bottom of Murchison Falls, where you will see, floating crocodiles and pods of hippo intersperse with some of the best bird viewing in the world. From the safety of the boat you can see the crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes and other animals on the shores of the Nile. Meal Plan Break fast, Lunch and Dinner. Day 6 Murchison Falls National Park - FORT PORTAL-Semuliki
Depart Murchison Falls after an early breakfast. Head for Fort Portal, the area where Semliki & Kibale Forest National Parks are situated, on arrival, you check in at Mountains of the moon. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Transit Time 6-7 Hours
DAY 7: Game Drive, Boat Trip
Morning games drive in the park. Jungle life in Semuliki National Park is breath taking especially for birders, primate, butterfly and plant lovers. You may see Uganda Kob, buffaloes and elephants, sitatungas, leopards, crocodiles, and a wide range of birds. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the River Semuliki for a more closer to nature encounter. You can as well take an optional visit to the healing hot springs at Sempaya. Day 8 Kibale Forest.
Depart for Kibale National Park, through the thrilling meandering roads. While in the mountains, the road offers scenic views of the meandering Semuliki River and the tropical rain forest extending to Ituri forest of the Congo. Arrive in time for lunch at Primate Lodge Kibale. Meal Plan – Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Transit Time 1-2 Hours
Day 9 Chimpanzee tracking
Get your walking shoes on as we move through bush and jungle to spend time with our fascinating relatives, watching them swing through the trees or move quickly across the ground in front of us. The park is home to 12 species of primate. The Primates include Chimps; Black and White Colobus Monkeys; Blue Monkeys, Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys; Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. Lunch at the Lodge and in the afternoon you can take a visit to the Bigondi Swamp for a nature walk and bird watching. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale. Day 10 To Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the best National Park of Uganda with outstanding wildlife. Have a relaxed guided walk at the Mweya Peninsular. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Mweya Safari Lodge or Ihamba Safari Lodge. Transit Time 3-4 Hours
Day 11 Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early game drive in the park with high expectations of seeing Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopards, Spotted Hyenas, Elephants, Antelopes and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park. In the afternoon you will take a unique boat ride on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The area is believed to be the biggest Hippo concentration in Africa. You will be entertained by amazing hippos usually in interesting pools and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, Hippos huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, Buffalo linger in the shallows and the prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with over 550 species. Day 12 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Lake Bunyonyi
Breakfast at leisure and thereafter transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. In the afternoon after lunch, take a boat ride on the lake to visit some of the 29 islands on the Lake. For bird lovers, the Bunyonyi environs are uniquely endowed with the resident African Harrier Hawk, Yellow-backed, spectacled weavers, Levillant, etc. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Safari Resort. Transit Time 4-5 Hours
Day 13 Gorilla tracking
After an early breakfast at 5.30am, depart to the park headquarters; one group will go to Ruhija, another one to Nkuringo and another one to Shongi. Go for briefing from park ranger guides before starting your Gorilla trek through steeply forested and beautiful landscape along several animal trails. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain Gorillas which is an exciting and memorable experience, Picnic lunch to be enjoyed en-route. Dinner and overnight at the Bunyonyi Safari Resort. Meal Plan– lunch and dinner.
Day 14 Lake Bunyonyi- Lake Mburo
We will drive through twisted and winding roads, and lake dotted countryside, before emerging on to the lower thorn and savanna scrub lands of Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo National Park has markedly different fauna to other Parks and reserves, the best place in the country to see the gigantic Eland Antelope, as well as Zebra, Topi, Impala, and several Acacia and associated birds. The five lakes within the park attract Hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of water birds. In the afternoon we take a boat ride at Lake Mburo, which gives great opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles and a lot of beautiful birds. Day 15 Lake Mburo-Kampala
Early morning game drive with a ranger, so we can get up close and personal on ground level to many of the beautiful and free animals of the park. You will have a chance of looking at Eland, Antelope, as well as Zebra, Topi, Impala, and several Acacia and associated birds. After lunch, you depart for Kampala and on arrival you check in at Cassia Lodge for your overnight. Transit Time 3-4 Hours
Day 16 Entebbe departure
Transfer to the airport for your outbound flight after breakfast.
